I support the idea that a resume needs to have a fairly specific format: name and contact info at the top, a title followed by a professional/career summary next and then a list of skills. There are two types of skills and you need to have some of each. There are “Hard” skills and “Soft” skills. “Hard” skills reflect what you know from experience and education. “Soft” skills are traits that you have which are less tangible and harder to quantify.
